These easy, cheesy mushroom sliders come from the lovely Seema Bites!
She writes, "My whole family loves my skillet sliders! Since we don’t do much grilling in the winter, I cook them in a buttered cast iron skillet, which makes them super juicy!
It’s a great recipe to sneak some mushrooms into (my son and dog, who don’t particularly enjoy mushrooms, have never noticed).
Make sure you do NOT top your dog’s slider with onions or any sauces with onions! Enjoy!"
Ingredients
1 lb Grass-Fed Ground Beef
1/4 cup Fat Moon Mushrooms, diced
3/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 Tbsp Homemade, A2, or French Butter
Gruyere Cheese, thinly shaved
Toppings such as Fermented Hot Sauce, Lettuce, and Red Onions
Directions
Mix the beef, Fat Moon mushrooms, salt, and garlic powder together in a bowl until well combined.
Shape the meat into individual patties with your hand.
Melt the butter in a @lodgecastiron skillet over medium heat.
When the butter has melted, add a few patties and cook for 1-2 minutes, until the patties set.
Flip the sliders and cook for another minute. Remove a patty for your dog and set aside.
Flip the sliders again and top with cheese. Turn the heat down to low and cook until the cheese melts.
Remove sliders from the heat and plate on buns with your favorite toppings. For dogs, break a patty into small pieces and mix with your pup’s favorite veggies. Enjoy!
