Spring and Summer CSAs
With warm weather, outdoor events, and, of course fresh produce, what's not to love about springtime?
-
We are especially excited about our upcoming CSAs beginning in May and continuing through the summer!
-
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Membership in these programs often takes the form of buying "shares", or a weekly sample of fresh goods from a local farm.
Purchasing a CSA share is an amazing way to strengthen local food systems, cultivate community, and, of course, enjoy delicious produce.
By participating in a CSA program, you allow local farms to continue producing organic, sustainable goods. Plus, you receive an abundance of fresh items with unmatched variety. CSAs are truly a win-win.
-
So, how does our CSA program work?
-
You can expect to pick up a variety of fresh mushrooms each week. The price and duration of each CSA will vary by location. The kind of mushroom you receive depends on what is growing in abundance! Fat Moon partners with other local farms to be a part of their weekly CSAs. Customers of these farms receive produce from the farm, as well as Fat Moon mushrooms.
