Mushroom hot pot is a delicious and flavorful dish that is perfect for cold weather or a cozy night in. This dish is a traditional Chinese dish that is enjoyed by many around the world.
Using mushrooms from our New Year's "Get and Give" program, Kathy whipped up this scrumptious hot pot for her New Year's festivities. A big thank you to Kathy Quinn for sharing this colorful recipe with the farm!
Ingredients
Packaged broth available at local grocers or available for purchase at a Hot Pot Restaurant, ex. Little Sheep, Spicy Flavor, Lee Kum Kee
Thin Sliced Lamb, Beef
Fat Moon Shiitakes, Blue Oysters, and Lion's Mane
Fried Triangles, Tofu Skin, Tofu Skin Rolls
Bok Choy, Watercress, Napa Cabbage
Fresh Udon Noodles, Rice
Garlic, Scallions
Broth
Protein
Mushrooms
Tofu
Vegetables
Noodles
Aromatics
Directions
Bring broth to a boil in the Hot Pot.
Once boiling, add any combination of the ingredients listed above to the Hot Pot.
Serve the broth and ingredients over a bowl of rice.
Add noodles to leftover broth at the bottom of the bowl to soak up all of the flavors!
