Job Title: Sales and Marketing Administrative Assistant
Job Type: Part-time, with some weekends
Job Summary:
We're seeking a part-time Sales and Marketing Administrative Assistant who will be the glue connecting us to our wonderful customers and helping us grow our mushroom-loving community. You'll manage external communications, update our order system, and support our vibrant events. If you’re an adaptable, motivated, and independent individual with a knack for customer service and sales, this role is perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Communication: Weekly check-ins with wholesale, retail, and CSA customers to confirm orders.
Order Management: Daily updates to our order management system and planning for 1-3 months of orders.
Event Support: Assist in preparing marketing materials and providing administrative support for external events.
Email Marketing: Routine communication with CSA customers and support for email campaigns.
Customer Support: Respond to daily emails and inquiries from our website and social media.
Qualifications:
High school diploma
Experience as an administrative assistant
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Client-focused mindset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Enthusiasm for mushrooms and the local food movement in Eastern Massachusetts
Tech Skills:
Proficiency in or ability to learn: Google platform, Shopify, Fishbowl (Inventory Management, ERP software), Klaviyo (email marketing software)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit at the computer for 3-4 hours
